About us

NewCon Steel is a full-service prefabrication and modular design company focused on improving construction efficiency through modularization.

With more than 15 years of experience in the modular and prefab construction sector and a production plant in Panama of approximately 5,000 m2, we have the capacity to prefabricate 34,000 m2 of construction per month using state-of-the-art technology that allows us to lower costs and pass that efficiency on to our clients in each part of the region.

How we do it

1. Design

NewCon Steel’s design team ensures top quality and maximum customer satisfaction for all structural steel projects.

Drawing on the company’s expertise in steel-building design, we ensure that our designs meet codes, standards, and rigorous transportation requirements while providing the ultimate in flexibility to the customer.

2. Manufacturing

Our production process is much faster than traditional construction methods. This is due to our controlled plant environment, the ability to coordinate and repeat activities, and the higher levels of automation.

Prefabrication allows our plant work to be carried out in parallel with the foundation work and ultimately allows our products to be delivered and installed at precisely the right time.

3. Assembly

Everything we design is done with the assembly process in mind. Understanding how components are assembled, sequenced, and manufactured is critical to designing a building for the modular construction process.

All assembly takes place in our factory and is led by our experienced team of modular specialists.

4. Installation

Installation work at the client’s site is radically simplified from traditional construction. Because we specifically designed for ease of installation, an on-site crew of 5 workers can install 380m2 per day.

This is significantly faster and ultimately cheaper than traditional construction.
